Welcome to Balindalloch Scottish Terriers
Having been raised with Scottish and English parents, it seemed only natural that our first family pet was our much-loved Scottish Terrier, McGregor. He was the centre of our lives and we, his. Since that time, we have had many Scotties that followed, and today, our house is home to 4 much loved Scottish terriers. They are:

Aust. Ch. Karlinka Mr Mac Bean (Jock)

Roseburn Magic Spell (Maggie)

Aust Ch.Balindalloch Tartan Miss (Cookie)

Balindalloch Avarda (Gracie)

All of these Scotties have proven themselves in the show ring. Our newcomer Gracie has proved herslef in the ring gaining her Championship title before her first birthday. She recived numerous Best of Breeds and groups and very are very proud of her success!

Our main aim is to promote the breed, encourage and assist new exhibitors and Scottish Terrier enthusiasts as well as ensuring that our breeding program continues to develop, so that hopefully, we can ensure that the future of the breed continues to improve.

For information on pedigrees and availability of puppies, please do not hesitate to contact Balindalloch Scottish Terriers and we will be more than happy to try and assist you in any way we can.

Regards

Susanne

DID YOU KNOW...?

It was not until 1879 that the breed reached the show bench in recognisable type that we accept today as a Scottish Terrier.

“As with all breeds of any antiquity, the origin of the Scottish Terrier is unknown. All that is known is that in the Western Highlands of Scotland and the Islands of the Hebrides there existed a terrier on short legs with a rough coat.”
This was the opinion of W. L. McCandlish, expressed in 1909
